Mixed Feelings
And so I am writing my first post after National Service. I recently bought a NEW PHONE! The Samsung Galaxy S5! Woooooo. It is like one of the latest technology that is released. Went to the IT fair at Expo on 8 of June. Sort of like a ORD present to myself.Talking about phones. My previous phone was sort of unusable; might be the result of the water damage it had received during my army daze. Part of the screen was dead and when the of resetting the phone is at the dead zone, nothing could be done.
However, i feel kinda bad wasting my money on such a good phone. Heh, you didn't read it wrongly, there is alot of mixed feeling in the previous sentence. It is a good phone, first time using an android smart phone. Really a breeze to use, graphics and sound effects are cool. Fully customizable and all. Love the air gesture and new stuff that are being promoted.
Now I feel so proud when I am at MRT stations cause the advertisements of the phone is being put up everywhere. Korean Dramas are also utilisation the phone (recent dramas, mind you). And yeap that's all about it. Price wise, it was $1068 for (32GB) in print. When asked further during the fair it was $968 (32GB) + a Lucky Draw (Air Humidifier) Got myself the copper gold colour since I got psychoed by my Sister. Free gifts were worth $401. --> Mobile charger, Wireless Charging kit (Not received yet), Samsung Gear Fit, S Flip Cover. Now I'm thinking of getting a screen cover...or should i not?

*Update 13 July - Finally got back my repaired audio phone YES! however i noticed the home button was now levelled with the screen. Previously it was a little protruding . Not sure if that is a good sign. Still works and now my phone is able to record sounds again!
*Update Sometime around 8 July - Was playing around and noticed when recording video and audio, the mic was picking up cracking sounds. Tried to use needle to poke it and ended up damaging the audio. Can't hear my voice when calling to another phone.
*Update 9 December - Its been 1 year and 6 months. Phone is still in working condition and all. Bezel on the sides have worn out and the charge cover at the bottom has been snapped off by me cause it does not fit and hindrance when charging. Really love this phone as compared to my past phones.. home button works excellently after so long :)
*Update 230614: And so i got my self a clear screen protector and collected my wireless charger kit that was worth $108! WAHAH! its so cool, so it charges faster than a usb 2.0 but slower than usb 3.0, the best gadget i have so far! However the trade off is that the new cover they gave me only had one colour... WHITE.
