I can finally judge because I have tried.

Really love the QHD+ display and the keyboard. The chassis is not to my liking however because it leaves stains from my hands. Wonder what will happen if someone works on my laptop. Cooling technology of this system is insane probably because of the processor and 970M graphics card. It can really pack a punch. Compact and Powerful - that's all I can say. To those who don't own a desktop, GET THIS, like NOW. Thanks for reading.

*Update 19 April 2017 - Paid $199 for a brand new charger and indeed the adapter was the only problem causing it.. guess the adapter is rather fragile and doesn't provide enough power for such a beasty laptop. It is working now

*Update 17 April 2017 - Went have it repair though it was out of warranty. Had a problem with the ac to battery toggling and getting on my nerve. Hope the repair isn't pricey but it is hard to say. Will update soon.

*Update 20 December 2016 - YES finally did it. Well I reinstalled another windows 7 version and it worked. The installation starts appearing. The only downsides are that the resolution is kept at 1920x1080 instead of 3200x1800.. Screen brightness was also not possible to be changed. Yep thats all. The speed is really better than windows 8 i don't know why. Audition was able to go beyond 61fps too.

*Update 20 December 2016 - Ok I will attempt to downgrade to windows 7 for the first time. Having seen the usb installations seems to work. Currently backing up the stuff i need currently... HEHEHE no fps cap for auditonsea liao i hope~

*Update 2 December 2016 - Laptop has finally expired. I will attempt to install Windows 7 on it today..

*Update 2 September 2016 - Laptop was repair successfully. (Keyboard replacement. Was also told that first repair was not successfully but the subsequent was ok). So in between the repair times, I had exchanged alot of email updates with Mike who was some tier 1 person working at razer. Leon was really a profession who took time to explain the process. Razer is really  brand to be recon with but the problem I faced was extremely uncommon. Really thankful for the warranty or else it would be rather costly. Well, bon usage lol.

*Update 29 August 2016 - Laptop was sent to repair at the 514 Chai Chee Razer HQ by a friendly guy called Leon.

*Update 27/28 August 2016 - After a long time of not using it because my alienware was better. Coming back because my alienware is experiencing sound issue. The Razer actually also gave in.... F3 key and the S key is doing the same input of (F3 followed by S Followed by F3 followed by S)
Not sure what is going on and had to have the person telling me it is a software issue when it is actually a hardware issue. Reformatted uninstall reinstall.. Gamepro guy is trying to find the proof of purchase too. This is a living nightmare!

*Update 6 December: Still at my day 3/7 to evaluate and waiting for error to surface to be entitled to a 1 to 1.. Highly unlikely.

HAHA a new entry begins once again. Good news recently. Got myself AN ALIENWARE M17X R4. Though i don't know what R4 but my guess is "release 4"? newest?? Bought it for 3699 w/o warranty so when with warranty, its like 4k already.. I know its expensive, against all odds, without regrets. One powerful mighty machine. With my skills of overclocking, its unstoppable HAHA and so the name Game Victorious (winning every game).
The specifications of this laptop is really out of the world as i only see the processing power and graphics capabilities of a laptop. Below is the msinfo32 information.. hope its not hackable?

*Update 14 March 2016 Until recently I just realized they also changed my graphics card from GTX 675M to 680M which meant $400 in the past.

Decided to troubleshoot the problem. Took me 3 thrice to solve the problem OMG. 

First try: Tried to fit the NVIDIA graphics card when the laptop is still on, resulting in immediate power off.

Second try: Tried to find the other Nvidia card that I was holding (engineer left it there to be collected by dell DHL service tomorrow). For this try, I fit the small metal pieces that was holding similar to the old on.

Third try: Fitted the graphics card without the metal pieces and it could detect the card upon switching graphics card. Saw the dent on the mobo different from the metal piece orientation. Rotating it 90 degrees worked. HURRAH.. 

Conclusions, Nvidia card slot on the alienware is causing alot of problems. Wonder if removing the graphics card on earlier stages would have solved the problem? So this is some complications if you have integrated graphics on the motherboard AND also, since the machine is bigger, Debugging or solving issues arise from these machines are harder.

Engineer Gilbert came. He was chinese and so was rather shocked. Anti Razer fan and told me to get a desktop, NO THANKS. He went on to replace the mobo and graphics but problem persists. However, there was some light to problem. He removed the nvidia graphics and it can not startup. Everything seems to work on INTEL only.

URGHH in my during my exam period, 2nd last paper down, left 1 more tomorrow. So, Engineer "Khairul" came again to replace the screen. Guess what? The problem still exists. New parts are on the way again. Really have no idea what is the deal with my laptop. But currently enjoying the smooth gameplay from my razer blade. Really beaster than Alienware unless they upgrade the graphics card and repair it. I guess I am just vomitting what I am thinking of writing. Mind me. Thats all for today.

Engineer "Khairul" returns to replace Mobo, Nvidia Graphics Card and Inhtel HD4000 and replaced a 4GB RAM. Problem exists... Only now, WE know what is the possible problem. 

IT MUST BE THE LCD OMG. Hope the next one is the finishing move or else they will need to confiscate my laptop to repair already. This is too muchhh.

Newer updates are on top. So... my Alienware have finally gave in after 2 Years and 274 Days . 

Was playing Batman Arkham Knight and suddenly there was like a power surge and *ppang* could not turn on, probably due to short circuit of the graphics card.

First Engineer (Jeffry) came, removed the nvidia graphics card and using only Intel only does it start to power on.

Second Engineer (Adam) came to replace the motherboard but 7 and 5 beep codes keep alternating. He gave up and swapped back to my previous motherboard.

Third Engineer (Adam) came, same guy (Second Engineer) came and replaced. Could power on BUT right  speaker side keep having some intermittent high pitch sound. Wifi could not work and keyboard having 3 faulty keys. Nvidia card detects but when launching nvidia control panel - BLUE SCREEN..

Fourth Engineer (Khairul) came to repair the keyboard and changing Intel cpu. 7 beep codes keep happening, cannot boot into..

Still ongoing.. more complications to be continued.

 - Noticed there was a challenging computer question and encountered it first hand where the 2 hard disks (primary and secondary hdd) when swapped will not be able to detect the windows automatically. A simple workaround is to switch the priority of the hard disk to secondary hard disk. what a downer...

*Update around End of March 2015

 - Found a way but i think i forgotten how. Although I know what have to be done. The booting hdd will need to have "System, Boot, Page File, Active, Crash Dump, Primary Partition" in the disk management. Ahh yes. Answer is to make a hard disk active so that it will start booting from any disk, be it primary or secondary.Forum

Cyanogenmod 12.1

So.. time for some techy stuff by me. Have you every wondered why your smartphone is getting laggy-ier every time you launch an app. It is true because the previously opened application is hogging the RAM but also cause there are other unimportant things that are factory installed into your samsung or other android phones.

Samsung has this modified android called TouchWiz user interface. It is Samsung's signature software that is why it is so popular. Installed apps that comes together with the phone such as Shealth and S"stuffs" are there which uses the phone's sensors to work. Using an alternative ROM will lose these functions. Personally I find that that is OK.

So I will introduce you guys to Cyanogenmod 12.1 which is compatible with Samsung S5.

Notice the settings differs. Samsung's orientation is at the bottom right whereas Cyanogen's at the bottom center.

On the downside of using Cyanogenmod 12.1, the phone has to be rooted. This means that the warranty will be voided and will incur additional charges if any hardware is damaged and requires repair.

Should I include Installation Instructions? Shall make it as brief as possible.
1) get necessary USB drivers for samsung
2) get "CF-Auto-Root-klte-kltexx-smg900f.zip"
3) get "cm-12.1-20150416-UNOFFICIAL-klte.zip"
4) get "openrecovery-twrp-2.8.1.0-klte.rar"
5) get "Odin3 v3.09.exe" that is with "odin3.ini"
6) use odin and root using autoroot from 2)
7) use odin to install openrecovery
8) transfer "cm-12.1-20150416-UNOFFICIAL-klte.zip", "gapps-L-4-21-15.zip", "UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.37.zip"
9) after cyanogenmod starts load, install the gapp and updateSU using openrecovery.
10) ALL SET :)

Hope the instructions are not that confusing to those who like to experiment.

Believe me, the title is just to pronounce it in a way that it means "finally, after so long".

I don't mean it in a bad way like "without it, I will die", it's just, its been a while since we have a major switch. I have been living with just water-cooled fan, desk fan and standing fan. Guess I have many 'fans' experiences.

So during the start of august, I was still having my Year 1 Trimester break. My mum and I went to Singapore Expo for the Home and Electronics Fair. We bought major stuff like washing machine, refrigerator and lastly, air conditioner. The salesperson's name was Stalin. Surprisingly, he was Chinese educated and thus able to speak chinese. Well, I don't want to explain too much of Stalin as the services provided by him is not really up to expectation.

And the best thing about this is.... I GET TO SELECT MY OWN TEMPERATURE.. Say.. what is too cold?

Today is 17 September. Air con specialist had finished setting up the compressor and the 3 system units. Now I 'just' have to be careful not to on the air con for long hours as we may traditionally know that the electricity consumption of those machines are rather enormous.

On a Tuesday, 15 September 2015, my dear polytechnic friend have left my side to pursue a greater height. Although I may not be seeing James in school anymore, we can always have a session of hotpot at 'Chuan Yi Pin' when we have the free time to stir the pot with the gang. Will miss our Year 1 memories together. Example would be the 'Dizzel' and 'Warframe' considering the fun memories and 'Sudoku' and 'Maze' for the tough times.

Update@11.15pm - 15 September 2015: Turns out he chose to stay to fight this to the end. Keep it up man!

AuditionSEA Season 5

Hi, I am here to give a quick overview of AuditionSEA in its Season 5.

As you can see the login page of the game. The left guy is like "I am smart" and the right girl is like "I am smarter lei". Fashion sense is kinda old here.

Here comes the cringing part. Now the places are labeled as compared to the other previous, less china or android versions of a so called dancing game.

That is not all, after you hover your mouse to a place, A hologram will start appearing with the same exact words. REDUNDANCY.
EDIT: IF YOU SEE CLOSER, THERE ARE 3 REPEATS LOL!

So in all, I believe Audition has failed in upgrading their graphics and gameplay but succeeded in creating redundant graphics. Thank you

*Update 13 October 2016: Audition has released yet another patch in Season 5. New logscreen and all. Have not been really playing.. but gonna login from time to time due to the attendance feature. Cannot believe it, I have to login for 1 hr for attendance to be counted. Collection of gift is only available after 30 mins of login

Windows 10

And I am back :) Im so busy and yet I choose to write here. Noticed blogger is getting less popular than before, hope it will still be here in the future. So i have been experimenting when windows 10 for quite a while and I am rather pleased by its stability even though people keep telling me that windows 10 is unstable and crashes alot of times.

Cool features like tablet like windows from existing windows type. Multiple desktop ideas is good too

Downsides are incompatibility like some multimedia keys are not working.
