Anyway~ This evening was a little traumatic. Wrecking every neurone (brain cell) to think of a dinner place with GT. Eating Sai-(zeriya) a.k.a. the one and only outlet of the ubiquitous (to be found everywhere) Japanese Italian restaurant was alright. I reiterate (repeat) "Sai is fine" but he somehow could sense a little resentment in my voice. I am willing to settle. Sigh. I am bored with food. [Digress (bring you away from the main point): I am now quite anti-food. Have gained weight. Though not overweight yet. But I feel so lumpy. So bulgy, so wobbly, so yucks. Can't fit into clothes as well. Darn.]
Ok. Ok. Here are photos and narration!!
Chanced upon this restaurant in Central @ Clarke Quay. Seoul Yummy.
Nice decor. Quite ambience (Soft korean drama OSTs - 200 pound beauty, Flowers boys and many more). Ah.. Fantastic tree..
It almost seems he's enjoying himself. Having a whiskey neat. Hahaa.. Free flow of hot/cold korean barley tea. More like malt tea. I loved mine hot.
Later to think about what to have for dinner..
What a long list we had!
I have to admit that I loved the groundnuts. I detest (dislike) peanuts. Strange that I have developed a liking for the cheapest food on Earth. Remember the falling peanuts text. Jape, we'll teach u so that you know this terrible joke.
Gavin's main. Strange my mouth watered when I looked at the photo. Quite delish.
A potato pancake side dish. That's green chilli sliced sitting on top of each quarter. Reminds me of the fateful ham-ching-pang event. Lying motionless in the toilet. Bile up and down. Lying on the arabian/persian/pakistan floor mat. Shudders.
My main. Buckwheat noodles cold and spicy. My kind of food. Easy to slurp down. The noodles are at the bottom of the ingredients pile. A little anyhow-made. Like out of shape. But I liked it.
A pork dumpling side dish. Thick skin. Wierd rubbery texture.
I loved this one. Beef slices on a cheese layered pancake. Yum! But this was also the killer. By now, a normal person would have been 80% full. This would tip the balance over 120% full.
This last dessert was served a little after. Wonderful presentation. Even my sides were bursting at the seams literally (in true meaning of the words). I have to find delicate room in my stomach to stuff this lovely item. Waffle~ The ice-cream was a surprise.
I was expecting vanilla to fill my palate (oral cavity / mouth / buccal cavity). But my taste buds were momentarily challenged. Had the vanilla gone bad? Sour. Then it hit home. It was Yoghurt Ice-Cream. Reminded me of Yoguroh which I did not sample. Eh. But the wierd thing is that the ice-cream is a bit siap-siap. Strange again.
:) This is the official last Pig-Out for me. :)
Stay tuned for another round of confessions of the Eat-aholic. Now I am remorseful. I must reflect and remember.
Target: To lose 2kgs.
