Hi all, I can't lose to Jape. He's been posting way beyond his usual rate. I must buck up!
Just an update here. I have been ravaged (attacked brutally) by bed bugs. Okay, it's not a first for me so I am not panicking. I am calm, I am relaxed, I am damn itching at ground zero. Which reminds me. I'll be buying Calamine lotion tonight to soothe the itchy-witchy-scratchy-scratchy.
I remember my first encounter with those tiny bloodsuckers. It all breed-gan (try pronouncing it as 'began') with an innocent bamboo seat mat on the lizard-dropping-full black leather couch (hahaa - Too's nightmare). It was MY spot in the living room. And I was the entire bed bug clan's sole B+ blood provider. I fed them all. They survived, bred and flourished for generations under my butt. Instead of showing a tinge of gratitude, their bites left massive itching and horrible brown discolored patches on my thigh-behinds. Nobody knew of the infestation. The final straw came. I told Mom I was severely bitten on the thigh-behinds. Initially Mom thought it was just a bought of mosquito bites. Then being ever the brain in the family, she did a little 'Sherlock Holmes' on her own and traced the source of my troubles. According to her, the BahSah colony was found in the crevices (little holes and cracks) in the bamboo seat mat. Oh the horror! She threw the mat away stat (immediately). Actually she did ponder to sun the mat for 7, 7, 49 days to exterminate the bugs. But maybe she figured it was too cumbersome (troublesome). Throw. Throw. Throw. Save the couch. Horror continued for Too. Guffaws.
Ayioh. Why am I writing so much? A picture paints a thousand words...
And before I forget, I caught the bed bugs at Vivocity's Golden Village Cinema Hall 10 Seats G12 and 13. Harty-har-har. It's not my personal hygiene this time round. Darn. No wonder I didn't find the movie "Cloudy with a chance of meatballs" that entertaining. Golden Village is a great disappointment. Now my fear is whether I have brought home souvenirs. Bed Bug Eggs. HELP!! Only time will tell... (fear) (scratch) (shivers) (worry some more) (scratch)
Oh, I found this blog related to bed bugs: http://bedbugger.com/photos-of-bed-bugs-and-signs-of-bed-bugs/ For your reading pleasures.
