Being infected by his bowling bug, I, too, was hyped up about the sport, and was SO CRAZY that I actually went to his school (SP) to bowl!!! Yeap.
Once in the campus, I headed first to the french fries stall. YESH. It's that legendary $1/pack fries. Having been cheated by Chippy with the 50cents/pack fries shop at Joo Seng (still feeling super chikers about it), I geared myself up for disappointment (it's 6pm when we got to the canteen. So I was half ready to accept the probable fact that it's been sold out.) But woohoo!! The stall's still open, and the fries were waiting to be eaten.. YEAP! They're waiting for me!!!
LOOK AT THOSE STEAMY FRIES!!!
The fries were.. DELISH!! Yumyum.. However, coz our main aim of the trip was to bowl, I had to gobble my fries real fast so that Chippy doesn't melt under the heat (it's a super hot n humid day today, and he had to wear his white, long-sleeved top.) hmmph... For what it's worth, though.. the fries were... SUPER!

When we arrived, no other players were in sight. The only people around were the cleaners, the guard, and a little boy who was in snoozing mode while waiting for (maybe) his parent to knock off. MUAHAHA.. The whole place was ours to play! Which also means that there's no one to mock me at how badly I'd fare in the game! PHEW!
Sidetrack: Don't these balls look like candies? Wanted to place my saliva on them!! Just like those super-smooth buttons!! LICK LICK!!
Chippy and I both chose balls with 6 printed on them. I'm assuming they're 6kg. Coz apparently, the larger the number found on the balls, the heavier they are. And guess what? Those 6kg balls were lime green! My fav colour!! LUCKY LUCKY! Good omen for later game! HUA
T AR!!
Oh! We had funky shoes to wear too! I was quite pleased that my shoe came in my other fav colour -- gray! HUAT HUAT!!
Sigh.. if only I were that lucky with the actual bowling... I was a total klutz lah! CHIKALAMPAT! Had so many gutter balls!! And I broke a bit of my nail (my right thumb). sobs.. Only managed a 47-45-44 score for the three games I played.. Well.. At least I'm quite consistent huh!
As for Chippy, he scored 113-101-92. I think it's really a feat, man.. especially since bowling's a totally new sport for him, and he's not done it more than 10rounds in total. Kudos to him!
After the game, it was time to head home. Hee... And go back to the comforts of my TV... At the end of the day, I realise that I like bo(r)ing, not bo(wl)ing.. hehe..
