Nothing Much...
Hi all, I'm going to write about dinner on 27 May 2009.

Just to set the blog straight - I intended to have a daily showcase of mom's delicacies and food adventures. Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner / and everything in the middle (oh, we eat and eat alot but that's because mom says "来吃了" far too often)
Anyway, back to dinner that day. After a long day at work and having finished my last guitar lesson at Delphi Orchard's Le Classique Music Studio, my stomach was really grinding when I got to the dinner table. Already 8.45pm. What awaited me was good stuff.


This was critically acclaimed to be the BEST chicken dish so far. (side-note: Mom went on CHIX frenzy spree. 4 for S$9.90 then she got 16 in all. That's just slightly less than S$40 total. Cheep. Another offer at S$0.50 each and she got 4 for total of S$2. Cheep Cheep. Refer to the Carrefour incident.)
This stew has Too's fav celery and Jape's fav mushrooms and my fav mu-er. Hmm.. wonder if anyone ate the chicken bits..




Definitely palatable (=delish) but just a bit will do~




Don't be deceived by this next dish's main ingredient. It was Lovely~ Bittergourd's not bitter at all! I loved the Prawns too~ De-shelled and de-gutted~ I love Mom~


But I am not too keen on the eggy sauce. High cholesterol. Bad for me and everyone else.





After a satisfying meal, as usual, Mom forgot her stuff lying silently in the dark toaster.

She was nagging that she had taken the time to slice the bacon, placed it nicely in the toaster tray. And well, she didn't even toast the entire batch of fatty pork. Well, no harm done. Hungry souls (and mortals) will settle that some day. See you next round at the dining table someday. One of those pieces will find its way into becoming my bodily lump eventually. Chikers...
